About us

Senorics is a high-tech company from Dresden that uses its technology to make near-infrared spectroscopy available to the B2B and B2C mass market.

Their unique and patented sensor technology combines exceptional hardware with sophisticated algorithms and powerful data infrastructure.

With the help of novel sensors, material compositions, for example of textiles, synthetics, agricultural products, and pharmaceuticals, can be identified and quantified with minimal effort, making Material Sensing accessible to everyone.

The sensors are small, powerful, and robust against external influences. Thus, Senorics technology is ideally suited for content analysis in appliances that are benefiting the end user e.g. home appliances and mobile electronics.

The company, founded in 2017, is a spin-off of the University of Technology Dresden.

Products & Services

Senorics develops and supplies handheld and OEM solutions for the easy, reliable, and affordable analysis of textile materials.

Fabric and yarn compositions can be identified and quantified within seconds, enabling enhanced processing and better decisions along the whole supply chain.

The underlying method, known as Material Sensing, is based on the decades-old technologies near-infrared spectroscopy and chemometrics.

SenoLab

The SenoLab allows you to carry out measurements for a broad range of textiles and yarns and provides you with details about compositions immediately. No matter where you are, the information you need is just one touch of a button away. The solution enables you to keep a detailed history of past measurements, track sellers’ testing records and assure that you are purchasing genuine products from reliable sources. The SenoLab is operated with the easy-to-use mobile SenoApp.

SenoSense

With the SenoSense you receive a detector and illumination unit combined. In other words - a ready to use sensor system. The hardware unit is designed to be integrated into your own machinery or handheld device to classify and quantify materials. For example, you can integrate the OEM module into robotic vacuum cleaners to identify floor materials and stains via distance measurements or into other applications to identify and quantify a broad range of textiles
