About us

Kretzer Scissors GmbH was founded in 1923 in the “city of blades” Solingen. Today, after 100 years, the family business produces around 460 different models of scissors and approx. 1 million a year.

Every single pair of scissors is manufactured with decades of experience and masterly skill. The result is guaranteed perfectly cutting scissors – piece by piece!

Kretzer scissors are sold and appreciated all over the world. With household, industrial, garden or hobby scissors as well as special scissors and individual custom-made products, all areas of the market are covered.

The company has now established itself as the largest manufacturer of scissors in Europe, making it one of the most important scissor companies in the world.
